• I returned from Japan last night to winds gushing in excess of 60 mph! I certainly didn’t miss the weather in the Netherlands at all. I bought back some delicious Japanese cheese cakes and banana cakes from Narita Airport. The cakes are very light. A box of rice cakes of assorted flavours was also purchased. Some of these will be mailed out to my family tomorrow.

  Today my new computer desk was assembled and I connected the computer together minus the monitor. The store was out of stock so I have to wait until tomorrow to buy it from another shop. I’m borrowing my landord’s monitor at the moment.
